Do not apply the iron directly to the hat, the steam alone will be enough to soften the material so you can reshape the brim.

Begin by steaming the underside of the brim. Then flip the hat and lightly steam the top. Place it on a clean, flat surface and use your hands to gently press and shape the brim to your desired style.

As our cotton bucket hats are carefully crafted, you may notice occasional loose threads or slight imperfections, these are a natural part of the product’s character.

If any small loose threads appear, they can be gently trimmed with a sharp pair of scissors or snips. This will not affect the durability or structure of the hat.

1. Place your measuring tape around your head over your occipital bone (the furthest part on the back of your head).
2. Bring the measure around to the front of your head. About 5 mm above your ears and position it in the centre of your forehead, or just above the eyebrows (depending on where you want your hat to sit). Make sure the tape is sitting comfortably, this is how the hat will sit on your head.
3. Check what size your measuring tape says. If in between sizing, we recommend sizing up and adding a hat filler to your order to tailor the hat to fit your head perfectly.
