Returns Policy

It is very important to us that you love your LOC hat!

All return enquiries are to be made within 30 days of receiving your items (we have extended our returns window due to COVID-19). Any enquiries after this date will not be accepted (unless delays have occurred with postage & handling).

If for any reason, you are not happy with your order or would like a different size or style, you will need to follow the returns process for a store credit and repurchase the new item. 

Lack of Color is happy to offer a credit note for items purchased, providing that the product is in original condition with tags attached. 

Please keep in mind you will need to cover return postage costs, plus any applicable duties or taxes, so for any styling and/or fit queries please email us at and we will be happy to assist you.

Please be mindful when choosing your LOC hat as we do not offer refunds for change of mind, however, we will happily discuss the details of your return with you further via email at

All LOC pieces are thoroughly inspected and quality controlled to ensure our high-quality standards are adhered to. In the unlikely case of a fault please contact us on We do not consider natural fibre flaws such as flecking, weave variations and loose straw ends as faulty.

Sorry - sale items cannot be returned or exchanged unless deemed faulty. We do not accept returns or exchanges on sale items or any items sold at a reduced price including items purchased with a promotional code of more than 15%.

Please note, that any hat returned with make-up on the sweatband will not be accepted for a credit note. 

Store Credits/Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the issued date.
